Lionel postwar #2358 Great Northern EP-5 shell. This one has a rough life, and I bought it many years ago with the intent of putting in service, but then I found a really nice one in its original box, so this became surplus. It has dings and paint loss, the decals were replaced. One nose area has the start of a split. If you are looking for a good shell to run on a EP-5 chassis, this comes pre weather! No other items in auction, so no pantographs, no motor, no wheel trucks, no box, etc. Its the shell as you see it. Please see all photos as they show the condition.
Lastly, in bright light it looks like some marker was used to cover over some loss areas. This is how I received it.
This is hard to find engine shell, and the last photo shows the inside where you can see the orange paint as it came thru some shell holes and covered the side in some areas.
