Meinl outfitted this 12.5" LC1212NT-M Tumba conga with a True Skin Buffalo Head and 5mm TTR rim that sits as close to the 2-ply Siam oak shell as possible. This provides you with a natural sound and a contour that accommodates traditional styles. At the same time, drummers here at Sweetwater were immediately impressed with the broad range of tuning you can get from the set of 8mm tuning lugs, making it a perfect fit for any style of music.
